Blue Lagoon Iceland Hotels

by Kshaunish Jaini

The Blue Lagoon is located between Keflavik International Airport and Reykjavik, close to a small town called Grindavik. If you would like to stay closer to the lagoon you can opt to stay in Keflavik which is about 20 Kms away or in Grindavik. But this would be far off from other attractions on your itinerary. On the other hand staying in Reykjavik, which is about 45 kms away from the Blue Lagoon, would make it convenient for you to visit the lagoon as well as the rest of the attractions. The disadvantage is that if you are there to see the northern lights , you will have to stay/drive a little away from the main city. You could plan your stay closer to the Blue Lagoon for a day or so and then stay in Reykjavik or just stay in Reykjavik throughout your visit to Iceland, depending on the time you visit .

To help you pick your ideal hotel, we have listed down some of the top rated and popular hotels in and around Blue Lagoon in Keflavik, Grindavik as well as Reykjavik.
