Parc des Îles-de-Boucherville National Park

Parc des Îles-de-Boucherville National Park is one of the most incredibly beautiful, scenic spots to be found in Montreal. Located only a few kilometres from Montréal, and directly in the middle of the St. Lawrence, you will find five quaint islands of which form the Parc des Îles-de-Boucherville National Park. There are 2 pools with water slides located right on site, a spa, a restaurant, small farm, kid’s park, and also a pool table, shuffleboard, basketball court, mini golf, hockey, tennis, a baseball diamond, and tons more to be found here are Camping Mirabel. Camping Lac LaFontaine is sure to be an experience that your family will remember. Many of the campers who come to Lac LaFontaine come back year after year. Here, you will be able to enjoy an awesome swimming pool, shuffleboard, a library, restaurant, and even Wi-Fi with ease. The campsite is pretty small and it is located right off the highway so if you are seeking a bit more peace and quiet away from traffic sounds, this may not be in your best interest. But the rates are great and there is plenty to keep you busy during your stay! Pets are even included (be sure to double check the campground’s website for more details and rules) for a small extra fee.

Cap-Saint-Jacques Nature Park

Cap-Saint-Jacques is a vast regional park located in Montreal, in the West Island directly at the junction of the Rivière des Prairies and the Lake of Two Mountains. Uniquely situated on a peninsula, ¾  of the park are bordered by water and the rest is the rich, natural beauty that can only be found in Montreal.
