Located directly between Letojanni and Mazzaró, Mazzeo beach is much larger than the beaches that you will find in Letojanni and the sand is significantly less course than other beaches in the area. As the location of the beach is so conveniently located you will find that this one packs in locals and tourists alike during summer. Many of the areas of the beach are free to use, however you may want to take up the option of paying for one of the lidos, where you can relax in ultimate comfort.
Recanati is so incredibly popular due to how fine the sand of the beach is. Recanati provides guests with a large number of lidos that you can rent where you can enjoy sun loungers and sunshades to ensure maximum comfort of your beach stay in Sicily . If you do not feel the need to rent a lido, there are still a ton of free areas of the beach where you can relax and enjoy the day. This beach brings in a good crowd during summer as well, but die to the fact that it is so big, you can be sure to find a nice spot all your own. The Baia di Mazzaró is not one of the biggest beaches of the area, it is most certainly one of the most breathtaking ones! The sand at Baia di Mazzaró is a bit more course both in the water and on the beach, but in no way should that deter your visit. During the summer months you can take advantage of renting some of the equipment available on the lidos of the bay, of which include sunshades and loungers for a small fee. Take note however that this beach fills up quickly, so you may want to get there in the early morning hours to secure a good spot!
The Baia di Letojanni is an incredible spot to be able to enjoy the afternoon in Taormina. Here you will be able to take advantage of not only enjoying the area around the beach, including the sights of the town, some unbeatable restaurants and pubs, and so much more, but you will also be only a few steps from this stunning beach, wherever you may find yourself in the town itself. Many areas of the beach are of free cost to enjoy, however you should consider the fact that there are no sunshades of loungers unless you pay for access for one of the full service spots of the beach.
